Fuel Pump Question

My new mechanical fuel pump (I had electric) doesn't show inlet and outlet. It has a threaded fitting and a hose bib. Anyone know which is is which?

I could put a bib into the threaded outlet, but I think I'm going to run metal up to the carb so this will work fine.
I think there are several different pumps that fit the 225. The HEI has been my struggle, it would be driving except for that.

 

My Bad. Should be 2 hose bibs and a threaded piece. One hose bib for in gas, one for tank return and threaded to inline fuel filter to carb.

But which of those bibs is return and which is for line in from tank?

This is for my V6 Dauntless mechanical pump.

I had found a thread previously and printed it out, but cannot find it again...
