Not mine but VIN 10067, ad says ‘53(?) obviously a ‘55. One of earliest I’ve seen.

it has everything a ‘55 should have, except a foot rest knob next to the accelerator (never seen a cj5 of any vintage have one of those, other than early pictures in the manual), but no cut out for the foot starter (?)

I have 10935 with foot starter.

 

Military reinforced shackles, and I love the oil can by the steering box.

 

That is a great restoration candidate. I think would try to save the graphics on the doors.

 

What great find. If I were looking this would be great project that deserves to be saved. It's unfortunate that the title is missing. Couldn't get a new one in PA that would say 10067 on it to help confirm it's originality. Probably couldn't get one at all here.
