Yes, better photos and correct terminology and application year...but who am I fooling?
The front axle appears to be a D27 so these could go back to ~1960.
But, yes, it could be a flanged offset D44!

I think it's a 27 that does not have a torque arm and a rear 44 with out a vent on the face of the tube. Those are both good signs and worth asking for an end pic.

Those are earlier than ‘72, and could be a flanged 44.

 My kids call me dad, my grandkids call me grandpa. Anything else would need a lot of explaining. :D

That does look like a flanged offset 44. Two clues:
    • The top bolts on the backing plate mount are close together. They are evenly spaced on the tapered axles.
    • There is a vent is on top the axle tube. The tapered axles just had a holed drilled in the back of the tube.

Fireball has it figured out...at least those features match my '71 offset D44.
I'd go buy that thing if it wasn't SO FAR FAR away.
I'd much rather have a replacement set of semi-float factory axle shafts on my shelf than this WARN full-float conversion that is equally unsupported with lack of parts availability.

I saw the 2 bolts at the top but was trying to see the flat in the housing at the top as well.
But the rust camo keeps me from seeing that feature in the housing.
