This winter has just flown by, .. I had so many plans and work I wanted to get finished before spring. BUT, I'm only 27 days away from when I wanted to start my trip out west. So, with that in mind, the object NOW is to put the Jeep back together. I started with putting the rear corners on. I had planned on major rust proofing, but that will be the project when I return.

Next issue is to drop the gas tank and seal the aux fuel sending unit, it has leaked form the day I installed it.

It's going to be 70 deg tomorrow, but, the wife's car needs a new pitman arm and my daughters car needs the pass side exhaust gasket replaced.............

I got the gas tank dropped, the Moeller sending unit is leaking when the tank is full. It leaks out the top, the square area in the pic. I have looked at other pictures of this sender, and the top is sealed and black. So I put a ring around the top and filled it with epoxy. I'll check it in the morning. And while the tank is out I cleaned up and removed all the dead wires.

Tomorrow I'll put the tank back in. Still waiting on gas fill hoses.

Got the sending unit sealed, and tested, ..... it doesn't leak anymore. Finished spraying Surface Shield on the underside of the back half of the Jeep. So I'm all ready to reinstall the tank.

Well, ... today has been frustrating, I had to put new valve stems in two tires on the Suburban. Then I had to replace two manifold exhaust gaskets on my daughters Escalade. FINALLY I got to the Jeep, and plumbed the rear axle.

and lastly, I need to put a 5 Star review for this K Tool Brake Line Flaring Tool. I did 8 flairs, do to having the wrong hardware, and every one was perfect. I wish I had bought this years ago.

It's been a fiasco with the master cylinder, the one I bought on flee bay was incorrect, and the first 3 that I got from Autozone before they finally got me the correct one. Next you have to bleed the brakes, ...... :banghead:.
More than once I've thought about replacing the brake lines. And since I didn't, as soon as I started this happened

The repair was short, but the rest is still suspect.
I ran out of fluid, so I went and got more, I'll finish bleeding the brakes tomorrow.

Well the Jeep is almost ready. It needs a couple of test runs and an oil change.

And I need to sleep for a week.
