Hey folks, I recently purchased a gasket kit to replace my old gaskets after taking apart the T18 transmission to my CJ5 1974, 258 I6. The gasket I received for replacement is just a thin piece of paper at least that what it seems like to me. Now I am curious is this correct or should I be looking for something more substantial?

I am at work at the moment so I cant take any pictures. And I did a cursory search on this forum for such an answer. Search query that did not yield any results include. "T18" "T18 gasket" T18 and T18 Gasket ( This last one produced many results but not specific to my question.) Thanks for your help!

Generally, the input bearing retainer gasket is paper thin, the lid, PTO, and t case adapter gaskets should all be thicker.
