Keep had a GM steering column that I replaced with a new flaming river column. This was the floor seal for the steering column. Assuming it fits the new column, do I:
Blast it, paint it, and reuse it
    Fab a new one
    Buy a new one.

    Bonus question:
There was gasket material on the bottom surface that I can cut out of 1/4” thick neoprene, but there was a round rubber gasket inside the part that I can’t find on line. It’s not in terrible shape, but it makes sense to replace if possible. My other thought would be to clean it up and put a bead of silicone sealant between the gasket and floor seal and also between the column and gasket.
    Thoughts?

Clean it up and marinate it in a sandwich bag with some 303 Aerospace. The rubber is probably better than anything made today.
