Front disk conversion thought...

    Hello first time poster on your site..LOVE the 11" brake upgrade tech articles...but thats what got me thinking. When my 79 cj7's spindle was cooked I used a 77 cj7's front drum brake spindle for a replacement. Sooo why couldnt we use a disk brake conversion on the front with the disk knuckle, 79 and up rotors, calipers...wouldnt the disk caliper bracket knuckle(6bolt) line up with the 6 bolt spindle holes that already exist in the closed knuckle of our jeeps?!?!?...longer bolts also...
