I’m on an off-road trip and my passenger axle shaft must have a problem because the lock right is still powering driver tire but passenger has no power. Took lockable hub off and no failure in it. Before I try to field fix it, I was wondering if I can slide the axle and ujoint out from the hub side or, if I have to take the whole steering knuckle off. I remember it not fitting through one hole at least.
Then the axle shaft I have handy is sitting in a dana27 axle. I know the od bearing diameter is bigger but is the Id too? (Is the dana27 shaft bigger than Dana 25?)

Yep, it's been awhile but I think those will come out after the spindle is removed. The D25 shafts are the same as the D27 shafts. If both are Spicer, identical.

Thanks for help, turned out it was just a really crusty locking hub that wasn’t engaging.
