Believe me when I say this but I've tried to Google search this site every which way. Couple questions regarding compatibility...

I am on the hunt for a Dana 30 with discs to swap in place of my Dana 27 with 10inch drum brakes.
Will I run into clearance issues with these wagon wheel steelies for a disc brake conversion on the Dana 30 and 11inch drum brake upgrade on the rear Dana 44? They are 15x8 with 4inch backspacing (backspacing measured from back pad to outer lip of wheel)

I wanted to purchase 31x10.5r15 BF Goodrich KO2's to go with these wheels and everything that I've researched points to no rubbing in my 67ish CJ5.
With the Dana 30 upgrade and additional turning radius that comes with that am I still in the clear?

I was able to purchase 11inch drums (non finned) and backing plates for my Dana 44 rear (upgrading from 10inch drums) yesterday and now working on sourcing the rest of the brake upgrade parts.

Anything else I should think about before I sandblast/paint/pinstripe the wheels and order the new rubber?

    Really appreciate all the help!

I had this same conundrum 15+ years ago...I just went with the 1976+ sausage slots and never looked back.

I'm certain you won't have a drum issue. I have a 76-78 thick rotor 30 front and have mounted 15x7, 15x8 and 15x10 without issue.

The only wheels that ever gave me a problem were the KH steel wheels that were 8 inches wide. They would not fit over the 11 inch drums because of the finns. However if the finned drums cause you a problem you can get them for a 1973 and older jeep without the finns. They are sold by rockauto, amazon and probably Summit racing too. Cannot say for sure about the disc though.

While I can not be certain of the wheel brand - I have white wagon wheels just like those that fit fine over my D30 with the thicker rotor setup nor the 11" brakes in the back.

I have since gone AL wheels as you see in the avatar.
