    Mine split apart at the dash flange area and the aftermarket spare I have been running just isn't cutting it. Looking for a good used set-up. Whatcha got?

    Not exactally sure what the factory one looks like but I was up at Quarter Ton Military in Ringgold Ga a month or so back, they had what appeared to be new 'cable and knob' setups that appeared to look like oem. They said choke or throttle right on the knob. Google them.

    I’ve had no issues with the choke cable/knob I bought off eBay. There’s a few sellers on there that sell them. Not sure if your problem with the replacement you had was from eBay.

    No my replacement was from another CJ5 I had in the bone yard and it is definitely not stock. I think it may have a kink or a very rusty spot internally.

    The slightest kink or sharp bend will affect the smooth operation, they are finicky! Reminds me of the speedo cable, lol!
