Ok guys, The way my tranny and xfer case are leaking I'm gonna be putting alot of oil in this summer. Going to rebuild next winter if I make it that long. What kind of squirt can or pump can I use to fill up? Squeeze bottle and hose is a PIA. Did get about 70 miles on her this weekend though. :D

Get the gallon container of gear oil with a pump/hose that screws in place of the cap.

Actually,,, that's what the PO had in it. Took about an hour to drain it out, dragging it out with a screwdriver. Guess I knew something was up.

Is it leaking at the backend of the xfer case. If so, just replace the seal and it should be good to go. I just did this in my '68 D18 and it was easy. :D

It is leaking there, but most is comming from the top of the tranny at the rear. I'm thinking out the shifter rails. It only took about a pint to top off today. Last time i filled it was last winter while the body was off. Should have gone through it then but had too many other problems needing dollars thrown at them. Kicks out of second gear on downhills as well so I'll fill as needed this summer.
