Hello and thanks for taking time to read this. I'd like to mount a rear view mirror on the central windshield on the Jeep, there was not one there previously. Is there a detachable type being used ?

    Thank you!

For my M38A1 I found an old mirror that had a single threaded stud, I mounted it by drilling one hole in the w/s frame.

Seach ebay under "hot rod' or "vintage" rear view. You'll see lots with studs or two-screw mounts.

My 74 uses a glue on to the glass type mirror. If you search I would bet there are universal kits available. Probably could get a mirror like this at a salvage yard.
