A Couple Of Questions Regarding Wiring

Me too. I made a bracket to mount it all out by the terminal strip next griil so I didn't have to hack into the original wiring at all. Starts here on my build thread: 71 Wheeling Rig


The original headlight wires trigger the relays while a heavy gauge wire straight from the battery powers the lights.

 

Question…. 1 relay per lite or is the 2nd relay for something else?

 

Another vote for doing it yourself. I bought a bluesea brand fuse panel, a bunch of different colored wires and some relays for the lights and horn. Pretty easy weekend project.

 

One for high beam, one for low beam.

 

Headlights... relays... all avoidable expenses if you don't drive at night. Same with wiper arms.
