Sad thing is the motor should only have about 3000 miles. I got it supposidly rebuilt, it was very clean and wrapped in palstic, and when i put a differnt gasket in a few years ago, it was very clean on the inside. Just seems to me that after the coil went and i ran with the flaming exhaust it did some damage. Not doubting any of you, i am still going to pull it apart to get at anything, but expecting the worst :(

I cannot re-itterate what mine did before. Dans may be different but I had flawless compression in all 6 cylinders within 10psi of each other, but once the engine ran for 20-25 minutes that flawless compression went out the window. This was checked by 3 different people not 1 person could see that I had a blown head gasket and thats what was definately wrong with my motor. So don't discount a blown head gasket unti l you open it up and see. At this point if it were mine just open it up and rebuild the dang thing, you will be much happier you did, and you can do away with all the useless speculation and fix it what ever turns out to be wrong.;)
