73 Cj5 Rear Crossmember

    I am having no luck in find a rear crossmember for my cj. So I decided to have one made. Any one know the the width,length and height

    The rear crossmembers are all basically the same dimensions from the late ‘40s CJ2a all the way through the ‘75 CJ5 intermediate. There are variations of some of the holes locations, but the chassis holes should line up on about the whole range.
    It would be best to get a crossmember with the nesting inner plate that reinforces the section between the frame rails.

    Yep, and they are widely available. The Classic Enterprises parts are probably the best on the market.
