Looks pretty clean, with four wheeling upgrades. Not too many of these around anymore.

Nice to see a clean one of these little pickups. They were notorious for rust, though the seller states the floors have been replaced.
If you could buy this size basic, simple 4WD pickup new today, I would be in that market. I hate the way EVERYTHING has been supersized in the past decades. Those old Toyota and Datsun mini-pickups from the early ‘70s to the early ‘80s were rugged but simple, and were the perfect size for an everyday runabout. Even this little Comanche somewhat fills my desire.

I like these mini trucks including the 2wd versions.

Yeah I know those Commanches were built around the time that ventilating quarter panel windows became obsolete. Love those old style vented windows. Cheap air conditioning if you don’t mind the occasional bug juice

    or bumble bee

    or hornet

    or other angry stinging insect

at least my bug suckers used to bring them in when the rear window was open

nothing like the sound of highway a/c at 70mph when it is 110 out on pleather vinyl bench seats that sat in the sun (when in shorts). Whooo boy, i dont miss them days.
