Have dual master system for a 74 cj5. Drum drum on my M38A1. no proportioning valve. do i connect the front brakes to the front or he back of the master. I have seen it both ways. On my jeep with front disc its on the back with the bigger reservoir.

If it were me...I would put the small reservoir to the back and the large to the front. Just in case you do disc in the future.
Be sure your master cylinder is for drum brakes and should have residual check valves.

Are you mounting to the firewall or under the floor? If under, I don't think it will make much difference and in that case
just do what is easiest. On the firewall it does not seem to matter and would be the same amount of work. Mostly see
front brakes to the fire wall excepting some corvettes and chevys. Maybe someone will chime in the intermediates.
