Intermediate 5

74 CJ5 with a 258 & 4 speed, in northern CO.
Looks to be in nice shape, you'd be hard pressed to build one for this price.

Ahhh...that little cringe when you see the T-18 does NOT have the granny gear.

 

That's a downside for sure, right now the crawl ratio is only 34:1
You could put D18 gears in the transfer case & get 42:1
Or a set of Tera Low gears ($$$) would get you even lower.

 

I talked with the seller s couple weeks ago.
He is heavily into cj6’s.
This 5 is certainly one of the better intermediates on the market right now.
Has had a few rust repairs and sports aftermarket paint.
