How To Remove Shift Stick/lever From Shift Tower T 14

Hi there,

Is there someone to help me with how to remove the lever from the tower of a T 14 A. I have no clue.

took me a few days to get around to it
I have to why
it's a lot of work to get the spring out


in order to remove the shift rods
first caps at end must be removed . small flat head will work . just knock it side ways to grab with needle nose pliers
next drive out roll pins on shifter forks
now if you look at photos you will see at the end of shaft where the caps where
you will need to rotate 45° to line up with the interlock pill . in order to push shaft in
to remove the pill . then you'll be-able remove the shaft . be aware there are ball and spring at other end . that will go flying . so watch for it
after both shafts are removed . there is a tang on big spring holding shifter in top
I used vise grips to grab it and turned it counter clockwise
