Hei On A Offy 360

Can anyone tell me which HEI will fit on a V-6 with an OFFY 360 manifold? an HEI off a stock V-6 will not fit even with serious grinding.

I can't help you with the stock EFI but I used Performance Distributors Extended HEI. I believe it 1" taller and more money.
My Offy 360 came with one button head bolt though and that area of the manifold seemed a bit thinner. I was not going to
to do any grinding on it.

 

I have an HEI with that manifold....had to grind quite a bit off the front of the intake and some off the cap too.
My 2 cents....forget the HEI and use a standard Delco points type distributor with a Pertronix and a hot coil. Or get one of the taller units from DUI ($$$$)

 

It really is very simple to do. Buy an oddfire hei from Amazon part number Cardone 30-1693. A little grinding, a button head 3/8 bolt and you will most likely never have to touch the distributor again.
