Just finished pulling the gas tank to repair the floor and re/mount the tub today. Had 12 Gauge steel cut to size to cover under the gas tank to the pedals. Also put a section under the tub between the Tub mounts to the outside edge and bolted thru both with the tub in the middle. So the floor is 2 plates of 12 gauge with the tub floor between them. Sure made a nice rigid mount for the front role bar mounts. Both sides underneith used a section 14" X 31" with a 24" long 3" angle iron 1/8 inch thick on the rear part that goes up to the rear bed area. These angle irons tied into both plates, tub and a new tub mount using the exsisting mount hole in the frame. My original frame mounts were good so I could still bolt to them just the sheet metal had some hidden cancer under the mats, in the tool box and pasenger floor area. They are all fixed now way stronger than new and I was able to finish the bed lining in that area. Tomorrow I get to do the front bumper gussets and box in 10 inches of the front frame tips. I found some hair line cracks near the leaf spring mounts. I had two 10 inch by 5 inch gussets cut and will bolt the 5" end to the inside edge of the bumper and weld the 10" side to the boxed in section on a slite upwards angle. This is where I will mount my tow hooks to under the bumper later. Took allmost 8 hours to do the sheet metal work today but well worth it. Cost $65.00 for all the 12 Ga steel including the gussets, shackles all cut to size. Moving right along and hope to stop in time to take some pictures of the work! Mark

I left out the part about all the pain I am in. My hands are cut up some and knuckles are sore! I though working on the Jeep would be easy compaired to the M37 but my back is killing me from bending over so much!! Had to use a ladder to work under the hood on the M37 now I bend over to do stuff? Mark
