    I'm starting to paint my '64 CJ5, and would like to source a missing glove box door before painting. any one have one for sale?

    I have the original dash out of my 72 CJ5 and it does have the glove box door. I do not know if it would be the same or fit your 64.

    i believe they are available new. When I wanted one, they were nowhere to be found. This was pre-internet.
    I ended up getting a chrome one and since I had it, I put it on. It doesn't bother me.

    I have an after market chrome one with a large button in it. I also have a CJ 5 glove box door but no latch for it, needs a small latch. Rick 734 7767659 Michigan.

    hahaha exactly! The only "mod" it needs it just popping off the bezel ring on the front. after that, its a direct match for our glove boxes.
