Oh brother! I put a new mc on the CJ-7 this week and really suffered getting the pin out to release the pushrod from the pedal. My Jeep doesn't have a power booster, so the pushrod is captured in the mc piston and there's no getting the unit off without dealing with that pin way up and behind the dash. I had to take the seat out to contort myself enough to do it. I hope the new master cylinder outlives me!

This is always the truth, no matter what is to be worked on a jeep there is always something that needs to be removed first to access it. You may as well take all four tires off and take the tubes out of them to begin with because they will be in the way before it's over.

True. For awhile I thought I might have to take the steering column out.

You haven't lived until you've replaced the brake light switch in a Sprinter. How hard could that be??
