Alternator Stopped Working (after Sinking In Lake)

    So you may have seen I sunk my Jeep into a Lake at the OHV park this past weekend. First thing I want to make work is the alternator. Is there an internal fuse? Anything else i can check to get it back to charging? It's only a few years old so I hate to replace if not necessary.

    no fuse. I would take it apart and clean it. Then get it tested.

    About all you can do is make sure the brushes are clean and free in their guides, and the connectors are clean.
