My friend who has my old commando is swapping frames. The new frame is still a bullnose commando frame but it was a 6 cyl. It looks like the previous owner removed those 6 cyl mounts and made his own. He was installing a 360 before he sold my freind the frame. Well the frame mounts are differnt. The homemade mounts are pretty much horizontal, and the old original 304 mounts on my old frame are at an angle. Is there a conversion mount to use so my friend can install the 304 on this new frame, or did the previous owner screwup with the mounts and my buddy has to start from scratch?? For some reason the new mounts look to be for a chevy conversion, but it was defiantely a 360 that was going in.

here is a link to pictures of the differnt mounts

I thought one mount on the v8s was different than the 6s. Can't remember which side though.

Those mounts definately look like conversion mounts. They look like the advanced adapter style chevy mounts.

Thats funny I'm actually aiming to redo my motor mounts tommorrow. :D

If they are the correct height, there is nothing stopping you from custom fab work for motor mounts on the engine and those pucks for mounts. These definately look like the kit that came for my chevy mounts. Too cheesy for my taste so I made my own, but mine werent as well made as these. No support at all on the ones in the kit I bought.
