Oil out the Distributor hole/mount

    Hey guys, I have installed the HEI, got it running(sort of), but now I have a bit of an oil leak out the mount for the distributor. The old one had a gasket on it, but the kit I bought doesn't. Is this something I can just pick up at a parts store, or is this a major problem???

    Where did you buy the distributor? Give them a call they should send you one. Do you have the old one, what kind of shape is it in?

    Bought it off a guy in Florida :) Can I just pick one up at Autozone/Napa??? I'm sure it's pretty cheap, right???

    You could still call the company that made the distributor and ask them to send you one.

    I’m sure you can buy one at AutoZone or Napa inexpensively.
