I picked up a posi rear end this morning. He also threw in a clogged 2a radiator and a 6v generator all for 150. I dont really need it but it was only a mile from my house. Its a dana 44 from a 67 with 4:88 ratio. So I think the posi should fit the fc if I should decide to use it and if its not trashed. I mainly wanted it for the brakes they are the 10" self adjusting so that will be a good upgrade for the rear of my 2a which has worn out shoes anyway. So they are good parts for future projects

Should. I'd verify spline count for both axles before I did a ton. FC should be 19 spline, so should a 67 I think.

Yesterday I swapped the horn for an old Ah-Ooga horn. Just for kicks its very funny! And today I installed the power-lok. I tested the breakaway torque and it wouldnt budge but i took it apart and everything looks great. The best one iv seen. I had trouble pulling the axles so i made a puller out of an old unit wheel bearing. I dont know what it was from but it worked good. Just tighten the 4 bolts and pulled it out slow and steady. The side bearings off the carrier didnt want to budge either so I just slapped it in as is and the lash was perfect! So its 90% done just have to put the cover on and fill it up. Hopefully it will help this thing get around the mud bog I call a yard. Almost got stuck a few times already.
