D25 width cj5 vs pickup?

    The “housing only” width end to end is 52 ½” for a D25 on a pickup. Would the CJ 5 D25 be the same width as the pickup or less? Thanks in advance for your help.

    I just received an email from Dan Phelps owner of Rigid Steel and he assured me that a D25 from a CJ will not fit a Willys pickup.

    I did check my 2A D25 housing and it measured 43 1/2", just didn't have a early5 D25 to measure.

    Chuck the D25s in CJs should be the same width, as the front axle shafts are the same
    2A 3A CJ5 etc
    the pickup is going to be wider, but you already knew that
