Chevy brake booster

Does anyone know if you can put a vacumn controlled brake booster from a chevy on a 74 jeep with manual brakes? 11" drums all around.

u can do it but insure urself of the size of the booster because some gm booster are to big i did it with a cj7 once and we had to trim the hood so that it fit than we make back a little cover over it. it was only for a beater so did not matter to much. the other thing is that u may have to reajust the calibrating proportioning valve so that the pressure would be ok u will see than with that the brake will be strong we used a 74 blaser brake booster and master in a cj7 86 with front disk brake and 38 ,5 inchs tires all try worth to be try once big al

 

I used one out of a 84' S-10 blazer. It was the right size too clear the valve cover.

Not yet. Twas a passing thought because I couldn't get my brakes to work for over a week now. Got them working yesterday. Now its a mod I would like to tackle in the neer future but it is not as pressing now.
