Help With Windshield Glass Size

Hey Fireball, I wasn’t exactly sure how to show the measurements so please add yours to the mix.

 

OK, here's my measurements a day late.

All the loops are square with the world. Don't be fooled by any camera distortion in other pictures:


The middle loop is centered and I measure it to be 12 1/4" from the rear of the hood to the center of the screws:


I measure the side loop hole centers to be 9 3/8" from the back of the hood:


If I hold my ruler to the back of the loop and push it towards the center of the jeep until it touches the hood bump, I get 3" to the center of the hole:


For reference, the side hoops are tall with a rubberized coating for the windshield to rest on. They are held on with nuts underneath. (sorry for the blurry picture):


The Center one is a standard footman loop held in place with screws:


All of these have reinforcements under the hood:


The side ones are loose metal plates held in place by the nuts:


The center one is welded to the hood and has welded nuts for the screws. The factory attached it before the hood was painted:
