Have you tried heat? I'd clamp the block in a vice, apply heat and penetrating oil liberally to the fitting, and use vice grips if the nut is rounded off. I've always been able to get them out so far.

I tried heat (buggered up the threads, but didnt spin), vice grips (broke off the fitting flush with the block), slow jazz (set the mood, nothing happened), pleading (made me cry a bit), and a left handed drill bit. Currently the forward facing one is drilled out as I dare, and I'm trying to chip in the fitting. It's not being super successful. My next thought is to use an 1/8 npt tap and try to chase the threads somehow.

Sounds like me on prom night,
With just about the same result........

Is this a resto or you just trying to get your brakes working?

Also, you can install a separate in line box for the switch alone. This would allow you to run two three port junction boxes like this one. One for the brakes and one for the switch.

I ran my own brake lines last spring. I know I removed one of the switch tees and ran a line to the back and front tee one piece. I'll look in my pile and take a pic of what I didn't reuse. Post later this afternoon/evening.

Not a resto, but I just got fancy new inline tube stainless brake lines, so I'm not about to cobble something together that won't fit right. Eaton bought out weatherhead, but they are still in business, so I'm hoping I can find a match, although that 66 mustang one is fairly close. The problem is their catalog is a .pdf, so it's not going to be easy to search.

Another thought I had was that apparently in 1970, the government mandated redundant switches in the circuit, so there's actually another pressure switch near the master cylinder. Since my Jeep is titled as a 1957, I can probably get away with removing it And still be good to go from a wiring standpoint. It looks like there's a lot of 3-way options out there.

It's a good time to go to a mechanical switch on the pedal and ditch the pressure switches.

I'm interested to see what that would look like with through the floor pedals.

It seems like there's always one step forward and two steps back with this thing. So frustrating.

Nice Build Oldtime, I still have the original single master cylinder on my Jeep, but I bought the the bracket and cylinder from a member to upgrade to a double cylinder when I get to it, this may be the time, thanks for posting your picture's. Rick

@CJ51973 is sending me the brake unions I need, unfortunately I wasn't able to salvage mine. Thank you sir!

A 1/8npt tap did a good job clearing out the top of the junction block, but it couldn't clear out the bottom, and stripped the brass threads when I pushed it too much.
