Hope this isn't a dumb question.
When I bought the 231 EF engine it came wth a power steering pump mounted on the engine. I have manual saganaw steering. I plan on putting PS on it later.

Should the pump be stored with fluid....will seals dry out if I don't.

Never had a problem with seals drying out, but not a bad ideal if it is gonna be a long time before you install it.

You will never get all the fluid out of there anyway. I would maybe connect the hoses together to keep dirt out, and just stash it.
