D18 Felt Seals

    Anyone have a problem installing the felt seals on a D18 transfercase? The ones in our kit seem too large for the yoke. Thanks

    I packed it with grease and shoe-horned it in all the way around. It was a tight fit but it finally got in there.

    Is it better for the felt seal to fit the bearing cap or the yoke lip?

    Both of mine fit tightly inside the yoke lip.
