I have what I believe is a '75 tub on my '69. The old rear deck had 2 rear seat belt anchors in the deck (towards the center), which I reclaimed for my new replacement, but there aren't any for the second half of the belt. I believe the newer CJ's had the anchors mounted down low on the wheelhouse. Does anyone else have them there? If so, would it be possible to get some measurements? I would like to keep the kiddos safe in the back seat once this thing is rolling, but I don't want it in the way of the seat either..

    Thanks,

    Jim

My rear seat seat belts are attached to the seat frame which is bolted to the floor.
I'm wondering if you ran a bolt through the inside vertical wall of the wheel house, wouldn't the bolt interfer with the tire when the tire is up (suspension compressed)?

Mine are are factory original and all the way to the back at the bottom of the wheel housing. They're well out of the way of the tires.

My 71 has 2 anchor plates in the rear floor just as you describe.
