Question - do you paint the pipes with something like VHT header paint? Or leave them as-is?

 

A good exhaust shop can recreate the factory behind the skidplate setup with aluminized or stainless tubing. Stay away from chain shops, usually inexperienced parts changers. Look for a hot rod guy. They tuck exhausts into cars with no room.
