I have two 1967 CJ5 Jeeps. Both were standard Jeeps originally with the F134 and 9" brakes, though one had been converted to the 225 V6. One of these is a parts Jeep the other is a low mileage gem that I am doing a mild restoration on.

This is my first time building a CJ5, as all of the Jeeps I have had before were flat fenders, and all of them had either cast iron on stamped steel pedals.

The pedal pads on the intact Jeep are bigger, flatter, and trimmed in chrome, the pads on the parts Jeep are smaller, thicker and rubber without the chrome. I have never seen these chrome trimmed pedals before.

Which are original to a 1967 CJ5? I am thinking the plain rubber ones.

Thought they were probably aftermarket, but before I tossed them I wanted to make sure they weren't from one of the Tuxedo trim packages which someone would probably want.

Yeah, but try finding a 49 Hudson in the Junk yard nowadays :bananatool:

The pedal pads on my 67 look like those in the picture.

Yup, those were popular pedal covers back before "billet" became the thing.
