As much as I wish I could, a) I don’t have the budget and b) a lot of the items are impossible to find to my knowledge. So many things on my build are far afield from “correct”so I’m picking and choosing the things that I think are worth paying homage to, and trying not to worry about things I can’t find/afford.

for example I have original dog dish hubcaps, but they’re not correct on my Tux. If I can figure out a way to run them safely I probably will because I think they’re awesome - even though they’re not right.

There’s a few great threads on here for what rims were used on the cj5’s, including the “raised ribs” between the bolt holes first seen on the 1966 year cj5’s cj6’s
Here’s an original rim from a 1966 Tuxedo Park

This is a correct wheel for a Willys CJ (including MK lll Tux) up through mid-'63. These have no "nubs" to retain the dogdish hubcaps. When Kaiser took over for '64-up (including MK lV Tux) they had nubs.
The dimples between the lugs seem to be found on '66 and '67 CJs.

The 16" turbine full hubcaps were optional on Jeep trucks in the mid-1960's.

These trim rings were optional on mid-'60s Wagoneers in conjunction with the dogdish hubcaps. They were "borrowed " from '57/'58 Chevy Cameo pickups. Thats one of my "inside" secrets that I'm putting out there!
These were never used for the Tuxes, but they will fit. The retainers are a pain to attach the rings.
