    Here we go again...

Got the carb back last night and the jeep runs great. Finally, I can check the brake work. Very disappointed...

New wheel cylinders on the front. Adjusted them to til it was difficult to turn the drums and backed them off a bit. Ran the jeep backwards a few times for final adjustment. Took it for a ride. Pulled hard to the right. Took the left wheel off, rebled and adjusted them a bit tighter, made the pull to the right worse  Now what? I will pull the right side off tonight and back them off more, but I can't figure this out...

    HELP

I've come to the conclusion that a trained professional can look at it tomorrow. It has to be a drum turn and re-adjustment. I can't think of anything else...

Is the shoes used? I found that one of my self adjusters never worked. The truck worked great for years until one day I went to readjust the brakes. I couldn't keep the one wheel from locking up. I fixed the adjuster, put new shoes on and it worked great again.

Just a thought, but when I put my new shoes on I got a little grease on one of them. No matter how much adjusting I did, one dry shoe always pulled harder than the greasy one. I just drove it like that for a while and probably within a few weeks of driving every now and again, the grease wore off it.
