Hand throttle finished up. Hole drilled in firewall below the VIN tag: Plug popped out of factory hole in dash. Hole enlarged one size with the step drill: Threading it through: It was a bit long: Wrapped it with tape where I wanted to cut it and made sure to pull the core out: The cutoff wheel did a good job: Heat shrink added oever the cut end for good measure: Installed with a grommet in the firewall, a P-clip to the heater housing and a nice large radius: What it looks like inside. I oriented the handle so it's vertica when lockedl. Rotate it to the right and it moves in and out freely so you can hand drive the Jeep with it. Rotate it to the left and it locks in place where it's at for a fixed throttle position while offroading, using the winch, or whatever.: Back together for now. I've got some concentric throttle return springs coming and I'll make a nicer anchor bracket for them when they show up: Took it up and down the driveway for testing. The hand throttle seems to work well. I think I'll like it.
