I did use assembly lube, I did prime it, and I "thought" it had plenty with the drill. When I fired it, it was low, so I stopped. First went to the oil pump check spring, which was wrong. The oil pump comes with 2 different sets of springs of different colors, for the 2 different oil pump housings. I had the wrong spring in, (and I am paying for it now). So I changed it, and it went to 40 lbs, so I ran it to break in the cam. But as that went on, it developed valve train noise on the left side, which made me think cam bearing, because the left side oil to the top comes from the front cam bearing. The front cam bearing has pretty bad wear, but not enough to block flow to the head, so I'm not sure why the noise, but at this point with it all the way down, change all bearings.
