    just need some verification.

I rebuilding my dash and installed new gauges. Then only one that was there was an aftermarket broken fuel gauge that was not even hooked up.

I installed a 0-90 ohm replacement. Then when I went to check out the sender it was an original cork one and wasn’t consistent in its readings.

when looking online for a 0-90 6 hole sender it seems as though a 9-73 ish was what those were. Like this one:

So now I need to get a different gauge to match

    any thoughts or other advice.

It should still work. The originals were the 9-73 ohm Stewart Warner.

I suspect the GM (?) 0-90 ohm scale is backwards (0 empty, 90 full) from the 10-73 ohm scale used by Jeep (10 full, 73 empty). I believe you have two options - buy a different gauge that conforms to the Jeep/Stewart-Warner scale, or find a universal sending unit that provides the GM scale and works with your 6-screw flange. I took a quick look, and the universal senders I found have a 5-screw flange that seems to be standardized for fuel cells.

I would go with one of these - Deluxe Fuel Level Gauge: P/N 82342 - Stewart Warner
