Can anyone tell me how to decipher the repair manual, meaning I am trying to find the below body mount rubber sizes by looking up the part number in the supplement 9C73D098-0547-41FB-9F1F-C7D6084DE8E5.png

You can clearly see in the diagram that they are listing the same part number for the front floor pan mounts as they are for the rear ones, these are different heights yet have the same part #, what am I missing here? I see the dash and a different number at the end of the part # but that doesn’t explain that some have different numbers there but are the same bushings?

The parts manual will not tell you anything more about the part than its location in the Jeep, and its part number. There is only enough information to identify one part from the other, so that the parts counter man can pull or order the right part number.

That's not a part number, it's a group number. The group number listings will have multiple lines divided by year and other criteria. Do you have the complete parts book? Look at the group number listing for more info. Without the group listings, it's just a picture.

I am using Tom ol Jeep Collins parts book, I’m mainly looking for original thickness of each bushing.

    Thanks,
    Allan

Allan, it may be best to buy a kit and get everything together. I can't imagine you can still order these factory mounts from Jeep. But I really don't know that, just a guess. My stock ones were so compressed and broken down each was only about .5" if that. And some down right missing. I used Prothan. Here is a pic of the measurements in their kit. I laid all this out and hardware in prep for dropping tub on in a few weeks. The kit didn't come with all the right bolts. So had to get few longer and washers. Also it doesn't come with the grill mount. so you need to order that kit separate. You can't see the rear of the jeep in this pic. But there is a .75" on both outer ends of the bumper like in your pic. And also, two mid .75" mounts that are behind rear seat in center of tub. These connect into the bracket off the rear hitch, and may be a thinner mount closer to .25" if I recall. I'll cut those along with the ones on the mid frame to fit the proper height.

    Chris,

Thanks for your help, looks like those are ideal sizes, that’s kind of what I have now but that rubber looks a lot better quality than mine. I will look up the prothane.
