factory power brake booster on pre 72 jeeps

    Huh?

    I was looking for a part in the part manual today and stumbled on to Group 24-09 which is for the power booster for the single m/c brakes.

    It appears to have been mounted on the fender.

    I have never heard of this before. Has anyone ever seen one or even heard of one??

    It looks as if it was used on either 4 cyl or V-6 jeep cj/dj.

    My first CJ5 had that setup. I don't know if it was factory though, this was on a '59 I had in the late '60s. Someone on here a while back posted pics of a CJ5 their friend had and the factory booster was on it. Seems like the tech section on the 3B page has some factory booster info.
