TSM mentions a “wave washer” on the lower pin of the clutch fork/throw out lever, but it isn’t in the diagrams in the TSM. I found a picture of it online and attached it. What does it do exactly for the set up. It doesn’t seem to come with replacement forks that I can tell in the descriptions. Anyone know a part number?

It has a Jeep PN, 3178359. Functionally it appears to take up any slack between the sleeve and arm pins. No source by part number online, that I can find.

You can buy wave washers at McMaster-Carr among other places. McMaster-Carr If you want to include one, suggest you measure the pin and buy a wave washer for that size. Ace hardware might have them, or another big hardware stores.

German cars use wave washers, both for locking and for moving assemblies. On the Jeep clutch linkage, the wave washer is there to tension the pivot to keep rattles to a minimum.
