Fuel Gauge Question

    Just wondering how hot the rear fuel gauge studs should be? Mine are pretty warm to the touch. 12v system into the gauge. I understand the VR is regulating from 12 down to 5 so there should be some heat displacement but I would just like to ensure my gauges aren't burning up inside the housing.
