I'm installing the new EZ wiring harness and when I untaped the turn signal harness I found 8 wires. Yellow, Red, Grey, Black/Grey, Red/ Green,
Green, Black, Blue. I have the wiring diagram of a Model 900 from the CJ3B page and it shows 6 wires? What's up?

You probably have the universal signal lever, or the wiring for one. There are 2 combinations you can use. 1 with seperate brake and signal lights, and 1 when the brake / signal light is the same light. I can look for the wiring diagram for my turn signal lever if that would help.

Thanks, the PO replaced the original tail lights with the square later model tail lights. Any help would be appreciated.

Got 'em. I am going to assume that these intructions will be universal. The manufacturer of mine is Grote and there are 8 wires. Here's the list:

Red - right front turn lamp
Green - left front turn lamp
Black - right rear stop/turn lamp
Gray - left rear stop/turn lamp
    White - ground
Gray w/ Black Stripe - brake switch terminal opposite the hot feed from battery
Yellow - flasher terminal marked "L"
Blue - flasher terminal marked "P"

You would only use 5 wires if you have seperate stop lamps. If you need tose instructions, let me know. I have them.

Do you mean separate stop and turn lights? Each light has an 1156 and a 1157 bulb.
