    When I did mine I couldn't find anyone local to do the job (the gear is made out of very hard material). I sent it to Mcruff in Alabama and he did a great job for a reasonable price.

    He uses a lathe, I do mine on a mill. The advantage to doing it my way is no soft jaw costs. I am also able to adjust for some of the crappy tolerances on the original gears, and some of them are horrible.
