T86 rebuild

    I should get my dana 18 assembled tomorrow. I will then dive into my tranny. I already have a T86 rebuild kit from Herm.

    Now.....will the T90 rebuild guide be sufficient for me to rebuild this thing? Are there any significant differences I should know about that would require special tools?

    The T86 is a very simple trans, you shouldn't have any trouble. The only tool you might need is a bearing splitter to remove the input and main shaft bearings.
