I've pulled the knuckles off my 67 cj5's dana 27 front axle.
Replaced the king pin bearings, one set of spindle bearings and races, and the hub seals. My question is about the bronze bushings that are pressed into the inside proximal side of the spindles, where the axle outside of the u joint passes through it on its way to the Warn hub.

How loose can the fit be? Should it be snug? or is a little rattle OK?
There wern't any seals or bushings on the axle tube coming from the differential. Any thoughts, advice? Specifications?
    Thanks

Down right sloppy, there only in there to protect he axleshaft from dragging on steel.
Front axles have there seal in the center section instead of on the ends like rear axles do.
