I finally instaled new rear brake likes since the originals rusted through. They were Auto Zone specials. Very easy install since I had a borrowed tubing bender. I bled the system and have excellent pedal pressure. The only problem is it pulls real hard to the right when brakes are applied now. I haven't pulled the drums yet because the PO said the shoes were recent. Is there an external adjustment somewhere on the front brakes or should I pull it apart and check it out?

Sounds like you need to adjust 'em.

    Are they 9", 10", or 11"?

They appear to be 9" and there are no slots. This Jeep is apparently put together from a dozen other Jeeps, so no telling what year the brakes are.

if there are two bolt heads coming out from the ottom of the backing plate they'll adjust the shows when turned... they're kind of ike a cam shaft so rotating them will move things in and out (but only a given amount). other than that i'm lost as well

To adjust the cam brakes you turn the adjusting bolt towards the outside. In other words on the driver's side front for example turn the front bolt towards the front of the vehicle and the rear bolt towards the rear of the vehicle.

The bolts on the bottom sound more like what it looks like. I'll check it out.
